Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day. I hope you were lucky enough to have a Mother who thought you were special. If you did, make her feel special and let her take a nice long nap while you make dinner for her by ordering  in pizza. Hey, it's the thought that counts!

    Cool cat by Charley Harper! I grew up 30 miles from Cincinnati, and we always considered him a Cincinnati artist. I went to the Cincinnati Art Academy, from which he graduated, and where he taught for many years. I never appreciated his work much when I was young (it was everywhere, it seemed), but now I think he was brilliant!

    Awww - I love Charley Harper! I got to know his work when I lived in Kentucky. It's truly wonderful! So sad he passed away in recent years.

    It would have to be very good pizza which is hard to find (i think) in the South.
